Ourselves...

We started Cellar Door Wines in 2004 with the aim of making buying quality wine fun and enjoyable.

In our store you'll find a relaxing environment to take your time browsing our selection of wines - we've catagorised them into flavour groups and countries so its easy to find what you like. We always have 6 wines on taste, one from each of our flavour groups for you to try.

...and if you need any help, please just ask one of our friendly and knowledgeable staff who will be happy to offer recommendations or help in choosing the right wines for you.

Our opening times are:

Monday – Saturday: 10am – 8pm

Sunday: 12pm – 4pm

We're proud to say it took us a year to choose the 400+ wines we have in stock, and we're always on the lookout to find more new and exciting wines to add to our ever-changing list. We have a clear buying strategy that sets us apart from our competitors - to specifically source the very best wines from the smaller more conscientious producers - but only those that offer the value for money our customers demand.

- and if you're on foot, don't worry, we provide free local delivery which we are usually able to bring round to you the same day, or if you are outside St. Albans our delivery rates start as low as £4.99 per case. Please see our delivery charges for further information.
